Hi my name is David and along with my gf Kelli we run Kavid's Rodent Rescue in Roswell,GA. We are a non profit organization, with one goal, to rescue and rehome rodents and other small furries. Currently we have 14 Rats ranging in ages from 3 months to 3 years, two hamsters (who are up for adoption), two rabbits (also up for adoption), and fish lol. We have been obsessed with Chinchillas since the first time we picked up one at the local Petco. So we are here to learn and help in any way we can. We're very familiar with rodent care, as rats quite prone to illness and such. Please follow our blog, and on our twitter. And Thanks so much for looking!

Make sure you guys follow us on twitter and become a fan of our Facebook page!

We are fairly new a few months old...we're really excited about helping out some furries

You'll definitely want to cozy up to Meanie then. She's been doing rat rescue a LONG time (dare I say, before the wheel became round??). If it's rat related, she's seen it, done it, treated it. :)

The rest of us will be glad to help you out with the chin stuff though. LOL

Rodents are under rated!! Glad you are rescuing them!

I feel that each forum has their place. Goosemoose is an awesome resource for rat information. What is your username on Goosemoose? I've not been to the other two you mentioned.

In need of help/rescue for baby and other Robowskis!

Hello,

I was given your information from a manager at petsmart... he said you could take my Robowski hampsters. I need help as there are too many, and I do not have the resources to keep them separated, and they are reproducing!! I do not wish to keep any of them, but feel unsure about giving them to a pet store, as you do not know who will get them.... people with small kids who may lose or injure them, etc. I would like for them to be safe... can you help me by taking them?

I live in Roswell.

Currently, there is a Mama, with 5 babies (they are about 2 weeks old, fur and eyes open.. very cute!)

There are two other adults. So 3 adults, 5 babies.

Please contact me at:

If you reply to me here, I may not get it, as I am not on a computer very often! I only signed up here to write this to you, and was not able to access the blogspot that the petstore man had given me.

Thank you!

C White

This person hasn't even logged onto the forum since 11/19/2009. I highly doubt they are going to see your post.
