i woke up and my nyxie just had 3 babies. all standards:) well she foiled my plans. i just got her babyproof cage yesterday and was planning on putting her in it today.. then i woke up and bam i have babies. so now i need to know how to safely transfer her and her babies to it.

should i use a washcloth to carry the babies so i dont squish them? first time ive ever had babies. so far shes doing really good they are huddled next to her and she appears to be feeding them too

You won't squish them. Just gently scoop them up and transfer them to the cage. You want to make sure you have a good hold on them as even newborn babies can be quick.

posting pictures:) moved them. ill be sexing them later:)

i have to get the mesh thing around it. she kinda sprang it on me. the first 6 to 8 inches of the cage is the plastic and they cant get up it yet. gunna get it asap

Yep, they will be able to jump from the hidey house or from mom's back and get up there - they will escape anything larger than 1/2" by 1/2" or 1/2" by 1" spacing.
