Just a quick question

My chin, Nibbler loves to sit around his cage on the second level and just watch what the dogs and I are up to. He's sitting sort of relaxed, slightly hunched position on his butt with his front legs up. He's alert and all...I'm just trying to make sure that there isn't an underlying behavior I'm missing.

The Buddha pose is what we call it. He's probably really comfortable with his surroundings, and just watching the action. They can sleep with their eyes open, so he might be snoozing on and off too. I like to poke/pet my boys bellies when they sit like that.

Oh...wow, I didn't realize they slept with their eyes open. Though it does make sense, he can see directly into the living room and seems to really like it when the TV is on (which is rare) or when I bring my work down to work on it in the living room. So he can keep watch and sleep.
