Hehe. I've seen posts around about spring and stuff. Well, it's really here, at least in South Florida. It's hot, humid, muggy, rainy already, and I already got a sunburn sitting in the shade...

But I know spring is here because it's... Dum Dum Duuuuum....

Frog Season!!!

:dance3:

I went outside for a cigarette, and jumped 3 feet in the air when I was startled by a frog next to my chair. He sat there the whole time I was outside. I went in to get my camera and he went behind the pillar, but I still got pics.

The first two are the frog,

And I couldn't help posting a pic of my oldest, favorite-est, garden gnomes. I think I'm going to repaint them. The rain wore most of it off.

That's a big ol' froggie! I have tree frogs all over my house when I leave the light on at the front door. I love sitting outside and watching them catch the bugs.

THATS NOT A FROG! Thats a monster!

And I totally wish sometimes we had rain.. No rain out by me at all :( I work at the seminole casino and ever THEY cant get it to rain! Its rained maybe once or twice in the last two months. I just hope it doesnt rain this week because Ive straightened my hair! Although the humidity is killing it!

On a positive note! My grass is starting to turn green! When I bought the house it was doodoo brown.. so thats one exciting thing about spring. No more doodoo brown color to my grass!

It is SOOO humid in FL! When we went there on vaca, I thought I was going to die of suffocation, lol.

Huge frog, geez!

Ha, spring it is! We get HUGE toads/frogs by our front door. The ac water drains out by our shrubs by the front of the house. We have lights too, so the water and light attracts the bugs, which attract the humungus toads to come right to our front door! They are almost as big as a plate! They sometimes sneak into the house when we are bringing in groceries or something, and my hubby just freaks out, he hates them. I don't mind and go pick them up, while he screams....hehe.

That one's actually small since it's early in the season. They do get bigger, and the toads get as big as a plate. And they're fearless, they hop at you, and scare you, almost like they think they can attack you. My son wants to catch one. It's mostly been drizzling, but we have had a few storms. Soon it will rain daily. We had a rug drying outside, and I just got it in before the rain today. But I do love the frogs and toads.

Sigh. I love the little green tree frogs--I love to watch them playing on the sliding glass doors. They sound like the Aflac duck.:D
