Itchy Dog

Our dog has been itching like crazy for a while now. She has been to a couple of different vets, been on medication, had skin scrapings, medicated shampoo, and lotion none of which helped. We changed her diet to cut out wheat and glutens and it seemed t work for a while but then she started throwing up and itching like crazy. She has chewed her back legs bloody in the last day. Has anyone dealt with this or have some advise for our little doggie?

My dog is having the exact same problem right now. We tried the no wheat, several dif. medications, but the vet just can not figure it out.

If anyone knows anything, i'd be interested to know too.

Have you had the full allergy test done? There may be something you would not think of that is irritating her. My neighbor's dog has many allergies and one of the allergens was sisal. She had a huge sisal rug in the tv room and she never would have thought of that.

My dog has the same problem, but it only comes in the winter. The vet does not seem to know what it is, but she has been chewing the hair off of her behind and legs. She seems to have the vet stumped. We have tried everything as well, medications, diets, nothing seems to help the poor girl. Sorry, no help here.
