I've been going through my iPod all morning and thought this might be a nice thread. What are your iPod must-haves?

Mine are:
LOTS OF 90's! Backstreet Boys, N Sync...

Pretty much everything by Rascal Flatts

& David Cook!

Nobody laugh! I have about 8 gb's in just music currently on my iphone and 25% is "old skool remixes". My partying days were in the early to mid '80's and that's the music I need to keep me going on my eliptical! :D

The rest is: Frank Sinatra, NewAge stuff, lots of latin artists and then the current pop along with Creed :)) and 50 cent, Kanye, 3 Doors Down, Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Santana.....

i have a variety of music on my pod, from movie soundtracks, to nature music (to help me sleep), gotta have Disturbed, Nickelback and my all time favorite: Dane Cook!!

I won't bore you with my 80's 90's pop rock punk stuff but I will give you the heads up on my new finds. :)
The Bird and The Bee - jazz pop ish. . .
Wolfmother. Retro alternative rock.
The Shins - indie pop rock
Coheed and Cambria - prog rock
The Strokes - alternative garage retro rock
Bloc party - alternative dance rock
The Fratellis - Alternative rock
The Subways - alternative rock

stacie, im with you! bsb and nsync! my roommates and i sing at the top of our lungs to those songs while on long drives. its pretty ridiculous lol.

at the moment, my ipod is sleeping, but i have:

tons of techno- perfect for driving at night
3doors down-omg amazing, story of my life in everysong!
beatles, mamas and the papas, simon and garfunkle- yep, makes me think of my parents all the time.

those are the ones i listen to pretty much all the time.

Lil`Wayne, Drake, Gucci Maine, Kid Cudi.... all the good stuff :)

I don't have an ipod, but work just got me an Iphone. Had to test it out to it's fullest capacity since I'm on call 24/7... har har.

David Cook... check.
Robert Miles... oh yea.
Nicklelback...
Enya...
Various Celtic artists
Nightwish..
Tarja Turunen
Daughtry

Good enough mix to keep me entertained I suppose.

I'm a little behind the mainstream technology when it comes to phones.. :D

The one thing my Ipod doesn't have?? Elvis! I know you're shocked but I have so much Elvis it fills up my Ipod lol! Plus I'm lucky enough to work with Bruce who doesn't mind listening to my zillion CD's!

Just added to my IPod recently:
Sam Harris CD Always
Hillsong United CD All of the Above
Janus CD Red Right Return
Pavarotti Duets
Dead Before Sunrise
Brian Littrell
Wynonna
Greatest Hits--Melissa Etheridge.

I know I like a large variety of music but it's all good!

I have my music on my bb.. And I have everything from AC/DC to Britney Spears and Lady Gaga some Pitbull and Bone Thugs. I am all over the place with my music..

Matt good, Metric, Coldplay, City&Color (<3 Dallas Green), Linkin Park, MGMT, The Fray, Wheezer, Blink 182....& songs from the wallflowers, rem, tom petty, beegees...

I've got everything from Beethoven to the Beatles, Rammstein to Johnny Cash...but I think I've got about 5GB of Dave Matthews Band, my addiction. Also, Guster, Jack Johnson, Incubus, Sublime, and on and on and on

Oooh...Sasha! I was just about to suggest MGMT! Haha..Listening to 'Electric feel' right now.

Pink,
Anyone heard of Empire of the Sun - We are the people..Haven't found anyone else who likes it?,
Shakira, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Amy MacDonald, Yeah i've had a mind blank!

Hmmmm.... old Elton, Bowie, Zepplin, Genesis, I have part of the soundtrack from "Say anything" I like Pink, Sarah McLaughin, just to name a few.

Celtic Thunder, Breaking Benjamin, Three days Grace, Old 80's hair bands are a definite must have! and definitely some Linkin Park, Shinedown, Godsmack and Seether!

Which one does he have? the older generation shuffle or the newer generation shuffle?

I have a running sleeve for my shuffle for when I am working out or just working around the house or whatever. This is a must have as it frees up your hands!
I also have the Ipod adaptor for the car, so I can take my tunes with me and not have to worry about changing CD's while driving.

They also have a waterproof arm band if he is into surfing, swimming, etc.
