so, soon i'll be getting a new cage, that's pretty much identical to a FN142 but it's a UK version.
there's nothing really wrong with the cage i have now, but i want the best for my baby.. and i was also hoping on getting a pal for him eventually.

i know that introductions can be slow, so i was wondering, would splitting the FN style cage into half, and having one on the top and one on the bottom get them used to eachothers smells etc?
Or should i put one of them in the old cage and put it next to the new one for a while? (even though this would be more work.)

i say old cage and new cage side by side. having them separated, one on top of another, won't allow them to see each other much, and the chin on the bottom might get nervous.

Also don't forget you'd need the second cage anyway for the 30day quarantine period, especially if you get the chin from a rescue, craiglist type source, or pet store.
