Chins for life
Hi all. What a wonderful resource this forum is. I researched quite a bit before adopting my little guy, but I wish I had found chins-n-hedgies back then so I had all the info in one place.
My chin's name is Bartholomew but he prefers Bart. When he was a baby he was ordered for the opening of a pet store (that apparently knew nothing about chins,) and sat in a tiny little cage for a year. When he was sent back to the "parent" store, they thankfully put him in a huge 3-tier cage and refused to sell him without the big cage. They gave me great deal on him, the cage and accessories. As soon as I saw him I knew I had to adopt him.
I went home, took a few days to research whether I was up to the task, and found that my environment is perfect for him! (quiet in the day, lots of run-time at night, cool room etc)
So now I'm the proud dad of a handsome black velvet called Bart! Glad to join this community.
