Hi all,
I've had an adult male chinchilla for about two years and he's lived alone in a CN162 all by himself. He seems a bit lonely as his old owners had other chinchillas and so he's probably used to/enjoys being around other chinchillas. We just got a young chinchilla (around 5 months old) and for now we've set him up on the bottom floor of the cage, blocking the passage between the two floors. I've read about the various ways to introduce male chinchillas to one another; are there any corollaries to the process when the "owner" of the cage is an adult chinchilla and the new chinchilla is a baby?
