Ok, so my and Keith's anniversary is coming up in about a week and a half and I've been totally stumped as to WHAT to get him that isn't going too be extremely expensive and will still be something he'll like/can use. He keeps telling me not to get him anything, because I'm always buying him stuff, but I can't help it. I want to get him at least a LITTLE something. I'd love to get him something for the Jeep, but everything he wants is pretty pricey, and I can't afford it, so I need your help, girls! A few ideas of what Keith's into

Staind - favorite band, but I took him to see them in concert for his birthday and got him a collector's set of stuff for Christmas
Guns - I got him a new holster for V-day though, and he's actually trying to sell one at the moment, so I don't want to get him something if he's in the process of trying to get rid of it.
Offroading - Everything involved with this is SO expensive. I know he wants a custom banner-type decal for the Jeep's windshield, but I can't find anywhere that isn't really overly priced on custom vinyls and I'd feel kinda tacky since that was what I'd gotten Jeff for our anniversary/his birthday right before we broke up and he knows that (not that I think he remembers it).

So, any ideas ladies?

Of course I have ideas--some of them can not be said on the forum!

Some of them can!
How about a subscription to one of his favorite magazines. You say he likes cars and guns they have magazines for both.

How about baking him a cookie bouquet! You can make sugar cookies, place shishkabob stick in them, frost them with cute sayings and put them in a basket.

Blockbuster is running 5 for $20 bucks right now by us--how bout you? You could get him 5 "guy" movies like war movies (with Guns) Westerns (with guns) or action movies (with cars)

That's all I have right now

The problem with magazines is he's already got subscriptions to the ones he wants, or he'll buy like 1 every few months because he doesn't agree with the articles (in the gun ones) or doesn't like what the 4wheel magazine is offering that month. He's a PITA! Barbi said the decal idea isn't tacky because it's actually something he wants...

It is impossible to buy for a guy! I've been with my hubby for going on 18 years and I still have no idea what to buy him that is affordable! Good luck! :)

For our 12th anniversary, I bought my hubby two books he wanted. $20, and I know he will be happy. Plus it gives him something to do while he is waiting for me during my surgery.
