My chin Scrat needs to go to the vet. They dont open until monday. Is there anything I can do for her?

I keep thinking i chin proof my living room but she keeps finding everything I've tried to put away or cover with toilet paper tubes over cords.. Stuff like that.

Friday night cleaning her cage i seen her poop wasnt completely round. It was pinched at the*end of her poop.
This morning her poop was twice as large than it normally is.

:cry3:

Theres so many different things online to tell you what to do. I dont want her to die please help me :'(

Is she still eating? Is she still pooping? She may have just cleared a partial blockage.
I'd just stop giving her treats... only hay and pellets for now.

If she has stopped eating or pooping, then she needs an emergency vet visit. If she keeps eating and pooping, then she'll probably be okay to wait for a while.

Obviously I'm not as experienced as a vet though, so if anything else changes, then get her to a vet ASAP.

Oh and I'm editing to say, if she is eating the cardboard tubes, then you need to get rid of them, as they can be responsible for blockages in the gut. You can chin-proof with kiln dried pine planking, or you can buy a metal play pen for her to run around in.

Yes shes eatting perfectly fine. Online i read to just give her hay and read something about yogurt. Does anyone know of i should do this? And shes not eatting the cardboard if she starts chewing on it i take it away.

The reason why this is happening is because she chewed on the wall a tiny bit yesterday and she somehow, someway found a carrot that was meant to be thrown away. But somehow she got it.

Definitely not yoghurt. Too much sugar. I would just give the hay and pellets for now. If you wanted to add in some probiotics, then get capsules from a pharmacy (human ones), open the capsules, and sprinkle the contents on her pellets.

How is she pooping today? Did you get her to the vet?

Usually if my girl eats something she shouldn't have, then I just monitor her food intake and her poops. If your chin is eating and pooping normally now, then I don't think a vet visit would be necessary. If she's not pooping, or still getting unusual sized ones, then I'd say go the vet ASAP.
