Taking the advice of those on here, I made some modifications to my new FN 142. I've had my chinchilla, Handbag, for just over 2 weeks now and he seems to like his new habitat.
I found a giant piece of fleece at Goodwill for $2.99 which I disinfected. It was big enough for two sets of three pieces (bottom, middle and shelf) plus a tunnel cover for my 4" PVC pipe and a hammock. I sewed them all myself at home.
I modified the wooden ladder I made and replaced the sisal ties with eye hooks and used "S" hooks to hang it.
I think I'm done for now. :dance3:
