I put my new boys in the cage I built. Its 36" W x 30" D x 48" H, and they love it! I am wondering what I can do to stop the poop from falling off the wood shelves on to the floor. These boys poop alot, and I am always vacuuming around their cage. Is there something I can make to put around the shelves to keep the poop in their cage instead of falling on the floor?
Also, after spraying Pam on the 16" wheel I made with the Lazy Susan bearings it works great! It spins quickly now, and both my boys love running on it. They figured out how to use it right away, and have so much room on it. I will make sure to keep Pam on hand at all times.
I am building my girl the same cage, but making it 30" W x 30" D x 48" H. It will be just a little smaller than the boys cage.
Here is a picture of my boys in their new cage. Its so much better then the small one they came with.
P.S. The boys are doing great! They are already pretty close to me. They run up to me when I go up to their cage. They are eating and drinking very good, and I think they are starting to look so much better. Their fur is looking more fluffy now.
