I have posted before and recieved some good responses but I am still confused on the right answer. My chin is eating and pooping just fine. She has started to lay on her wooden house or marble slab on the bottom of the cage but today when the ceiling fan was off she was up on a shelf so I don't know if it was the fan or not since it is off now. She has always been sweet but she was still bouncy. Now she will let me rub on her. Is this just warming up to me or is this something else. Someone mentioned their pregnant chin became more sweet. She has resisted coming out of her cage the last day or two but when i get her out and take her to play she runs and bounces around just like any other time. She does run around occasionally in her cage as well. She has been known to lay on her side after exercise though and maybe one or two other times just on her own. Her stomach seems tad larger but this may be my paranoia.

I know this is a lot of info but I tried to simplify it down to facts but enough that would help ya'll come up with a def answer or something to lean more towards. She is LESS than 6 months old. Maybe three or so. I don't know if this is just chin behavior since I am way knew at this. She is in a weird mood or what? I do think this morning she was more eager to get out of her cage. I have heard some say this could be prego, others say it sounds normal, and others say she's just in a mood. I say I don't have a clue. :hair: :duh:

First, you seem like you may be worried she is pregnant..is she housed with a male? if she is and you do not plan to breed her, than you need to separate. But if she is by herself, I would go with what others have said and chalk it up to her being young and full of life. I have chins who are more sedate than my others and some that are constantly bouncing off the cage walls and run around like the white rabbit in wonderland, at play time.
This may just be your chins personality, after all!

She is not with a male but the reason I even entertained the thought was because I got her from a pet store and don't know if there was a male in with her before I bought her. There wasn't when I actually got her but I don't know about before. I was thinking as well though that she is too young really. I am coming to the conclusion that she has just finally calmed down in her surroundings and with me and that is why she is letting me really rub her and stuff. Thanks for the advice. Makes me feel a lot better.
