She's on a wonderful vacation soaking up the sun, eating crabs and probably lobsters and I miss her! I'd like to think I'm so much more important than a vacation but let's face facts here people, I'm not! Especially where lobster is concerned! LOL

I recently saw a news story saying the lobster boats are only going out 1/2 as much as the price has dropped so bad, every day doesn't even pay for fuel!
Seems the conservation efforts are working so well, they're catches are 2-3 times bigger than last year, which was a record year as well!
Don't know when the midwest will see the prices fall, but I'm polishing my little fork!!

Hey Laurie, I'm just reading this now. I got back from a wonderful two week vacation in Maine yesterday. Much needed. Sun, sand and ocean doesn't get much better than that. Thanks for thinking of me.
