Had so much fun with the huts, decided to make some hay boxes for my chins. No more throwing hay all over the cage! They are 7 inches long and 5 inches wide. Not perfect, but within my price range! About $5 each when completed. Painted with Kool-aid. Pretty cheap to make too!
The pink is for my girls, the green is for the boys. Although my fish ended up looking a bit demonic

Just gave them to the chins, so only the girls have checked it out yet:
They turned out a bit dull in color, is it possible to use anything else to dye them?
I'm planning on making some ledges next.
