How do I bond with them both?
Albus (im aware albus is a boys name and its a girl chinchilla but i like it okay) is really curious, I've only had them 3 days but theyve both took food from me behind the cage bars, Tina, the shy skittish one, took a bit more time than albus but she still hides whenever i put my hand in the cage. Albus on the other hand comes right up to the door and sniffs my lap. He takes a treat from the palm of my hand no problem and does try to climb onto me, I dont want him to have a complete run of my room if he's not used to being held by me yet, so I'm waiting for more trust to build.
If Tina is always hiding and Albus is soaking up the limelight, how do I try to bond with Tina without taking Albus out of the cage for a while, I wouldnt do this just yet anyway.
I'm really happy I decided to get them as a pair because Tina reacted really bad the first day and wouldnt come from behind the wheel, I hate to think what if she went to a new home all by herself.
Does anyone else have a similar problem with completely opposite personalities in their chins? (Tina has never sprayed me or anything, when she's scared she puts her ears back and hides, the most she's ever done was bark when i was trying to get her out of the cat box into the cage, i left her alone and it took her about 3 hours)

I have 2 chins and they are pretty opposite personalities too. My best suggestion is that you just let them be who they are. Buddha is much more friendly, and likes being held and pet, but Moose kinda likes to do his own thing, and doesn't really enjoy being touched. So we have just learned to love them both for who they are. Buddha is fun to play with and be with, and Moose is fun to watch and laugh at. So you kinda just have to let them be themselves. Also, are you positive they are both females? Have you actually checked them to be sure?

I have two sisters myself with almost opposite personality. One is curious and a bit personal like her daddy. (and she looks exactly like her dad) And the other girl is shy, panicky, easily scared, similar to her mother. (And she looks exactly like her mother.. interesting).

They both got used to me over time. Bonding with a chin can take a long time. If they are hiding away and scared, you should probably leave them be. You don't want to force yourself on them so soon after moving.

Well the woman I got them off was sure they were both boys but it turns out they're both girls, so judging by that their bits must look pretty similar aha

Triple check that.

Its easy to make a mistake. I made it myself. I was getting ready to introduce two kits to their father/brother so all the males could live together in one cage. When i found out the kits were both actually girls. (And now live with mommy). But that would have been a drastic mistake had it gone any further. Definitely something worth making sure!
