First, let me say that my kids will be reading this thread, LOL!
Ok, we went to Miley Cyrus' concert last night in Milwaukee. We had great seats and let me say that she "put on a show" with LOTS and LOTS of props. Lots of hair shaking goin on as well which was starting to get (sorry kids) a little bothersome. She admitted that she grew up ALOT this year, which from the pics I took, she definitely did. A few highlights for me was her piano playing to the song "When I look at You", very pretty as well as "The Climb" her encore. She also showed a trailer to her new movie next year with Greg Kinear playing her dad. My girls were in front of me as I took very bad pics, sorry but they were happy.
Here are a few pics/video, I won't bore you with the rest but feel free to look at the photobucket link if you'd like to see more pics and video!

OMG is that George-Barry's mini me or what???!

You guys had great seats Sandilicious!

Aw, thanks guys! :)) It wasn't so bad, there were a lot props as I've mentioned before to keep me distracted, LOL.

Yes, your daughter is a female version of Barry. She's adorable. I remember taking my kids to do lots of things I'd rather not have been doing. It's just part of being a good parent. I HATE mini golf and we'd go all the time. *sigh* You gotta do what you gotta do. You are creating wonderful memories for your children and that is a great gift to be giving them.

Wow, you must really love your girls...I had to take my little sister to a terrible boy band, LFO once. They actually threw twinkies into the crowd and I got whacked in the head. All the little tween girls were like "OMG you are so lucky!" Needless to say it was not a good time for me!

I'm almost 64 and I don't think Miley is so bad - I think her dad is HOT!!

Ha, ha, Barb! Mr. Cyrus is pretty hot now that he's lost that mullet! ;)

Sandi - that's great that you took your daughter to that! It's a memory that she'll remember forever! Taylor Swift will be in our area in January I think and my husband wants one of us to take our oldest to see her.

You are such a cool mom Sandi! My cousin and her daughter were at that same show and said it rocked!

Aw, thanks Tawana! :)) and thank you everyone else for the nice words! I know that there are a lot of Miley haters and my 9 and 11 year old girls really like her. They're not living under a rock and they know about the negative stuff out there about all the Disney stars but they have enjoyed her show and are into her music so I support them. I really lucked out with the tickets, I had 2 computers going, one for the Chicago show and the other for the Milwaukee show (1.5 hours from me) and on my second try for Milwaukee, it came back with front row tickets! I didn't tell them where we were sitting until we walked towards the seats. I'll never forget the looks on their faces, it got me a little emotional.

I don't know if any of you remember when Billy Ray was a popular singer. His 'Achy, Breaky Heart' went to #1. It was the only song of his that went to #! but he did have some fairly popular numbers for a while. I watch him perform one night on tv (he sang about 3-4 songs) - was he HOT - wiggled his hips almost as good as Elvis. I don't have any pictures in my home except for family and animals EXCEPT on my den room is a full length picture of Billy Ray back then - sitll love to look at it

Wow, it looks like Miley Cyrus has really grown up a lot-grown a little too much for her clothes. lol.
