Hey all,

My name is Lynds and I am totally new to using forums so apologies if this is in some random thread!

Thought I would introduce myself anyhoo...I live in Oxford (UK) and have owned Gracie (2 years old, standard Grey) for a year and Aggie (apparently 4 months old, standard grey) for 6 weeks!!

Gracie was clearly left in her cage for quite some time before I took her on and it has taken a while for her to come round to me! Now she is really curious and will jump all over me for ages...not overly fond of being picked up but I do manage to get the occassional sneaky cuddled in :) Aggie, bless her, is so nervous! I only got her because when l was picking up supplies from a pet store l spotted her and couldnt walk away...there were kids poking their fingers through the cage and it was such a small cage! I dont regret taking her home and l am sure she will settle in. However, l am having trouble getting them both to like each other!!! They have met twice now but l have had to split them up both times. Usually Gracie is not aggressive at all and all of a sudden she has Aggie's furr in her mouth :/

Any tips on how to introduce them would be grand! Ideally I really want them to share a cage.

Take Care
Lynds

Welcome to the group! There is also a search function at the top of the forum. It will then bring up a number of threads that you can snoop though. I find sometimes this is a great way to get answers or at least see a variety of perspectives on different issues frmthings that have already been posted. I too was new to Forums but his one I have found relatively easy to navigate. If you have questions, just ask :)

Welcome to the forum!

About introducing your chins together, first make sure they are both in fact girls if you haven't already. Petstores often missex the chins. Females will have no space between cone an anus whereas males will.
As far as intro methods, there are many - you can have their cages side by side, switch cages, playtimes, etc. The search function can be helpful here.
Something to remember though is they may unfortunately never get along. I myself have 4 singles, 2 pairs and 1 trio. It just depends on the chins.

Hi Lynds - welcome to CnH. Good to see another Brit on the forum.
