How would you fix this?

This is really special to me so I want to fix it and put it in my china cabinet. When I took it out to take pics of it last night I realized how bad it looks but smells very pretty.

This was my wedding bouquet and I want to save it for my girls if they decide they would like to use it for their wedding. The bouquet was made for me by family that I have in Ecuador. It is handmade out of Masapán and took a long time for them to make it. I had the florist add white roses to it for my wedding day.

Should I remove the dried (dead) roses or can they be spray painted to look white until when and if my daughters want to use it and then they can replace them with real flowers? For you crafty people out there what would you suggest to make it look a little nicer? Thanks!

I'm sorry, about the only thing I know about drying flowers is you're supposed to hang them upside down.

Spraying the flowers won't work, they will fall apart. You could remove them and replace then with white silk roses for display. Or you could get some properly preserved white roses. You should also be able to fine preserved babies breath and the greenery at Michaels or another craft store.

There is a spray specifically for dried flowers...I forget what it is called, but I got mine at Hobby Lobby. I'm sure Michaels would carry it, too. It is to keep them from falling apart and puts a protective coating on them. I've used it on many dried flowers.

You could spray the boquet now, then remove the dead flowers and replace with fresh if your daughters decide to use it, or remove the dead flowers now and replace with silk for the time being.

i heard hair spray works but I would just replace it with silk flowers personally
