how do you install the plastic flying saucer wheel to where it doesn't go anywhere?

Honestly there is no possible way you can get one of those wheels to withstand the running of a chinchilla. Not only are they unstable, they are too small and pose a chewing hazard.

If you want a Saucer you will need to get a metal one. Or, the silver surfers from chinchillas.com are awesome wheels and the cheapest out there.

i agree with Stacie, the plastic flying saucers are basically crud. for what you'll pay in replacement wheels over time due to breakage, it makes more sense to pay that bit more for a good wheel right off the hop. metal flying saucer, silver surfer, or chin spin would be the best wheels to choose from.

your chin will be fine without a wheel until you can get one of the ones mentioned. my Rhino has no wheel and he's perfectly content. i'm saving up for a good wheel for him (the shipping to me is crazy!!!!).
