How do I know what color my chin is?

Hello,

Is there a way (pictures? a link?) to know what color a chinchilla is? It's hard trying to describe Zero...he's kinda white and grey and has a dark spot and his face is kinda dark and his ears are kinda grey... I am sure there is a better way than stumbling around saying "kinda"

Anyone know...i've love to be part of the informed:dance3:

That is a cute pix! yes, he does look alot like that...a bit more grey to him...fairly evenly distributed, even the 1/2 and 1/2 tail, and the strip between his nostrils. Darling!

My colors page is still in progress but I have pictures of most of the common single and multiple mutation colors: http://sites.google.com/site/chinchillachateau/chinchillacolors. It sounds to me like your chinnie is a mosaic though... and no two mosaics ever look exactly alike! There is a lot of variation in markings and patterns on mosaic chins.

she's a beautilf chin. she looks like a white ebony cause my one chin looks like that .
