Homemade Shelving

sorry for all the posts, i was just wondering the best way to attatch homemade shelves to the cage. I just have the wood cut to the right size but am unsure on how to safely attatch them to the cage.

I had the best luck drilling a pilot hole first, otherwise the wing nuts kept getting stuck on the hanger bolt.

That post is great, but real quick. You take a drill, drill a nail in it, attach a wing nut, a washer on the inside of the cage on the nail and a washer on the outside of the cage on the nail. Hope that helped. The other post has pictures though which is great. I can't visualize.
