Hole in ear?

I was holding Mira tonight and noticed a small hole in the skin on her ear. I checked it out the best I could with her refusing to cooperate. It was about the width of a finger nail, and 1/16 of an inch long. If it was a wound it appears fully healed. I'm not sure if the kits got to rough or what.
