Hiya from the UK!

Hi everyone!

I am very new to this, but here goes!

I own 2 Chinchillas, they are both brothers and 4 years old. Jacko is a pink and white chinchilla and Jerome is a standard. Both are very cheeky but also very loving boys!

I have always loved chinchillas since a very young age, however I wasn't allowed one until I could actually look after it myself! so when I turned 19 I was surprised with my two boys!!! So overall I have owned them for 3 fantastic years!

My other main hobby is horse riding and I also own a springer spaniel, who I adore!!!!

I think I must own the only chins who despise rose hips! but as with them all, they adore raisins!!!

I cant think of much else to say... thank you for welcoming me to the forum and am looking forward to expanding my knowledge through this forum in order to better my two boys

Hi and welcome to the forum! We are happy to have you here! Just a small word of warning. Feed raisins very sparingly as the raisins have sugar in them that chins can't process. Oh, and my chin doesn't care much for rose hips, either. We have finicky chins!

Thank you for the advice, I try to never give them more than one each a week, but often I won't give them any at all, but they get sooo excited if they even think I will give them one!

Haha they are so funny how they throw their rosehips out of the cage!
