Hi...I'm Shelly

Hey Everyone...

My name is Shelly. I am 37 and live in Michigan(Metro Detroit area). I have 4 cats ages 11,8,7 and 3 months. I recently lost my senior cat who was 15 years old to cancer. She was my first pet on my own and I am still and will always be heart broken over it. I also have a 6ish year old pit bull and a 14 year old red eared slider.

I recently became interested in Chinchillas after researching ferrets. I happened upon some information about chinchillas and it peaked my interest. I was recommended here by Megan a member of another forum I am on. I had asked a bunch of questions about Chinchillas which she answered and she recommended I stop by here.

I am planning on acquiring a Chinchilla in the next little while. I am currently getting my kitten introduced and acclimated to my zoo. Actually it is more I am getting the zoo used to her :rofl:

I swear I have been looking through the FN club thread for almost an hour and I am no where near the end!

I was looking at another cage, but now I am leaning towards getting a FN.

I made the mistake of getting a smaller tank when I first got my turtle. I have had to upgrade a few times for bigger tanks, bigger filters, bigger heaters, etc. I'd like to make sure I do it right the first time for the chinchilla
