I, no I mean Jeff and I, just got our first pair of chins...after almost 5 years of wanting and lusting over them. We adopted 2, I'm sure the most incredible, beautiful beige boys ever, from Susan at AZChins on Sunday.
The story is sweet and a major success story. We carried these boys around for about 2 hours at Susan's while we talked about all the little intricacies of being new chin parents and providing a safe and stimulating enviornment for our new little guys. Eventually we let them get into their travel cage and signed the adoption contract loaded up all the supplies that we would need for quite some time, and (after getting the truck unlocked that I accidently locked while rolling up the windows to turn on the A/C,) an hour later headed home with our babies.
One of the things I mentioned to Susan that we needed as far as adaptability of our chins, was being able to travel with them without stressing them out...and Mason and Chipper did fantastic! They slept, they chewed, they ate, they slept! By time we got home, it was nightfall and when I brought the boys inside, it was time for play.
They immediatly made the biggest mess...welcome to chin-ownership, right? I can feel you sympathy already.
