Hi From New Mommy In Illinois!

Hi. I am new to chinchillas and we just got our first, Jake, about a week ago. We are in love. He is about 1 1/2 years old. Very friendly and loving. We can't wait to learn as much as we can about caring for our little guy.

Thank you both for the welcome. We cannot wait to learn new things about Jake. We are looking into getting him a new friend at some point. He isn't our first small animal. We have 4 guinea pigs also. I can say Jake is way easier than I thought he would be to take care of though.
