My name is Kerrie and I was a member on that "other" site for a very long time. In fact many years ago I was even a "Buddy". I am a hedgie lover but unfortunatly I no longer have any. They have all passed on now. :-( But that doesn't stop me from lurking around here. I still enjoy reading about everyone elses..seeing adorable pictures..and continue to learn about them. They are amazing little critters, and maybe someday down the road..I may even get another. 
But anyway...I just wanted to say hello to some of my old friends and to the many new faces. This site will be bigger and better then the old one, with the crew that is finally running it the way they always wanted to and always should have been!
