Help please!

Tonight I went to check on my chinchilla. And he was just laying there not moving. I brought him down to look at him. He's not moving and he feels all squishy. He was moving his legs a little bit but that's all he's doing. He isn't moving any other part of his body. Does anyone know what could be wrong??? Anything? The vet we called said the only thing we could do is put him down. But I want to make sure that there's nothing else before I have to do that.

I would call another vet or take him to a vet asap! I'm not sure what is wrong with him but he obviously needs help! I'm sorry :/ wish I could be more help.

What is the temp in his room? Is it possible he has over heated?

He was in a room with 5 other chinnies. Everyone else was fine. He put up a good fight but unfortunately he has passed on. He died with his classmate snuggled next to him and me petting him. I'll miss tiki
