I have a 4 month old female chin and a 5 month old male chin.

My female is a standard grey while my male is a dark violet.

I have intentions of letting them breed but from what i know they are too young.
Both of them are paired now and enjoy the cage together.

What is your advice? Will they breed now?!!?

while they physicaly can start, its a very bad idea at that age. Your femlae could end up in very bad shape or worse. And not to sound like an ***, but IMO if your unsure about soemthing basic, you shouldnt intend on breeding.

yes they can breed now and you could easily end up with a dead female and/or kits. Please separate them NOW!! Please read the FAQ on this forum about breeding

Separate them now and count out 111 days on your calendar and mark it. She could already be pregnant and you need to keep her in a baby safe cage. Do not put them back together until you have learned a lot more about breeding and she is old enough and big enough to breed.
