HELP!! I think my Chinchilla may be Pregnant.

My female chinchilla has recently been acting very strange. I've had her for about 1 1/2 - 2 months now and in that time she's been very sweet. She loved being held and rubbed and never made any noises or anything like that. Well, within the last 2-3 days she has begun making little squeaking noises and digging in her bedding quiet a bit. She has also become a little more unsocial and not letting me touch her. I don't know what's wrong. She hasn't been paired with a male since I've had her. She's my only Chinchilla. But my friend gave her to me and I never bothered asking if she had been with a male before. Her age and all of that is unknown as the person who gave her to me didn't know. I'm a little nervous because I'm not sure what's going on. Could anyone help?

You should ask the person you got her from if she had been caged with a male. Mark 111 days from when you got her on the calendar, that is her last possible due date. Keep her in a baby proof cage until then just to be safe.
