While I know there are fires burning quite badly in many western states, I do see that the Colorado fire has spread horribly and into neighborhoods now. Please ask God in prayer for his mercy and loving kindness to help us end this fire. While I do not live in the area I am so sad I can't do anything so far away on the east coast. I will send some money to Larimer Humane society today.

Here is one post for help in the Co area. ( I am sure there are many more )

NOTE: scroll down for animal assistance at the Larimer Humane society of Fort Collins. This article was written 6-25-12 and updated 6-26-12.

I did see folks posting to craigslist for fostering when I did a random help search. I know one woman on the tv said she was going to have to give her horses away as all was burned. I almost cried over that one. So very sad.

So lets get to work forum members. Even penny donation at this point could help when totaled up. Be very careful to ALWAYS check an organization before you help.

Thank you for looking,
Alex

THANK for for your kind thoughts and suggestions.

Not only is Larimer County up in flames, but at this very moment, they are trying to keep a fire from reaching Colorado Springs, probably the 2nd largest city in the state, and The Air Force Academy, which is just north of there.

All prayers and donations are appreciated by all Colorado residents, even those of us not in immediate danger. :)

Thank you for your update. Post back when you can. May God keep you safe as well. I'll post if I am contacted with help needed.

I'm on vacation and see that my state has been slammed with a bad storm. Thank goodness I am chin prepared with a generator and window unit. Sighs....
