A little nervous about actually participating in the chinchilla community, although I have stalked it for quite some time. xD
Anyway, this is my chinchilla Dory:
She is about four years old now, though I have only owned her for one year of her life. When I first got her she had diarrhea due to the amount of treats her owners were feeding her. :C Now she is on a much better diet and has a very loving home
This is/was Inca:
I think the picture adequately sums up her personality. She was always curious and I could never really get a proper picture without her trying to eat the camera. She passed away recently and unexpectedly. She was right in between vet visits for her bumblefoot, which she was getting light therapy for. I've shared ten years of my life with her, i just...
I hope participating in this community will be a positive experience for me as a chin owner. Although I try my best as an owner I feel like there are still aspects to improve upon that I hope this community will help me with.
And as a newbie here, I have questions. I noticed the boards here aren't as fast as some other forums I have been on. What's considered an appropriate amount of time to respond to threads here? For example, can I respond to threads that are two weeks old? Or at that time will I just seem like an annoyance? What is the usual time frame for responses?
Again, a lil nervous. >.<
