Hello from New Zealand

Hi,
My name is Christine and we live in New Zealand. My son saw a Chinchilla in a pet shop and become obsessed with them. They are not very common here, in fact that was the first time I had ever seen one & had never heard of them before.
After much research we are now the proud parents of 2 beautiful 5 month old boys named Chewy & Nibbles.
The kids think they are neat but I've caught the obsession & spend a lot of time planning cage improvements and thinking up new play toys for them.
Can any one tell me how to put on a photo? I would love to show you some New Zealand Chins.

Welcome to the forums! I've heard new Zealand is one of the most beautiful places on earth, you are lucky to be there:thumbsup:

To attach pictures, there should be a little paperclip icon on the same row as the font and size options. Once you click on it you should be given the option to attach up to fivr photos from your computer/phone (how ever you access the site). They will be shown at the bottom of your post. I think you can copy and paste photos into your posts also.

I have to ask about the back story to "thirstywhale" -- I keep putting New Zealand together with the Whale Rider movie and start wondering

Photos of the boys

Here are our boys. Nibbles is a black velvet and Chewy is a brown velvet.
Thirsty whale is a name of a pub here and the name caught my eye as we spend a lot of time out on the water fishing, diving & watching whales and dolphins. my email address is minke which is a type of whale. Thirstywhale doesnt mean I'm a big fat drinker! ha ha.
