Hello, everyone! I'm Tracy, but I also go by Twiggy. I just adopted my chinchilla, Flicka, from a lady who couldn't keep her because her child was too rough with her.
Flicka is my first chinchilla so this quite an adventure. There are a few things I've noticed about her in the 24 hours I've had her. She enjoys eating. She enjoys it A LOT. She loves to run about the family room, but she is very polite and does not pee outside the cage, and only leaves the occasional poo on the carpet. Also, she does not chew on anything outside the cage, either. She is apparently very adept at parkour, and does not very much like to be petted, but will sit on my lap and hop around on my shoulders if I lay down on the floor.
As for me, I love animals, except for possibly rabbits, because my sister had evil Monty Python attack rabbits which ruined rabbits for me forever. Besides little Flicka I also have 2 guinea pigs, and a Siberian husky mix. However, between my husband, step-daughter, and mother-in-law, there are also 3 other dogs, 3 cats, and a Roborovski dwarf hamster residing here.
