Hello guys! I'm from Bermuda, I have had chins for almost 3 years now, and I love em! My first Chin is A all solid black male, named Bongo. This boy is some piece of work! Always looking for a treat from me whenever he hears me coming down the steps! Every day he comes to the cage bars as if to say "where is my chin scratch!" My second Chin is A cute girl named Bonnie. She is an Ebony Chin with a deep solid black coat and a soft white tummy. She is a very fun girl, always looking for a chew stick from me. She likes her ears to be scratched, and always looks forward to having them scratched. My couple used to be in A Quality Cage Chinchilla Mansion cage. I put them together to breed with one another, and make a family. Needless to say, after just about 118 days, I now have two cute fuzz balls! This is my first time having Chinchilla babies, and it's her first time as well.

Welcome. :)

Just a little FYI, ebonies don't usually have white tummies. Are you sure she's not a black velvet?

Welcome! And I'm with Peggy. Sounds like your male is actually the ebony and your female is a black velvet. But, y'know, pics would help ;)

Haha, oops! Must have gotten the colors mixed up :S

Any ways, here are the pics:

Mom isn't happy! Lol but she's definitely a black velvet, and dad is definitely an ebony. The babies look like ebs as well. Very cute!

Haha I didn't think she was mean! She just looked unhappy in that pic, like she wanted to be left alone.
