I am a college student at the University of Scranton, in Pennsylvania. I have recently adopted a chinchilla named Marvin. He is the cutest thing i have ever seen and it is miraculous to see how quickly he warmed up to me. Just last week he was hiding in the box i got for him, now hes jumping all over me. He loves climbing up to my shoulder and sitting up there, then eventually up to the top of my head. He loves to play, and whenever I put him to sleep (back into his cage) he chews the wire trying to get free. I play him some classical music to calm him down though (I think it works). I am going to soon get him a ferret nation 141 cage, which him and I are very excited about. I am going to make his ledges out of wood, and perhaps eventually start lining it with fleece, at the least a fleece hammock ^-^ . This is such a nice place to come for help with chinchillas, everybody seems really nice and helpful=)
