my name is Kyle and it's worth mentioning that I'm female (a girl with a "boy's" name). I'm obviously new here. I've never owned a chinchilla but may be acquiring one soon, as I've wanted one for years. I currently own two pet rats (pickles and noodles) and they're just the sweetest things ever! I'm hoping they'll adjust well if they get a new housemate. I'm figuring out play schedules...
I thought this site would be a great place to bone up on my chinchilla facts. I know the basics (food, habitat, they overheat easily, etc) but if anybody has any advice they feel they should throw my way, I'd appreciate it!
other than small fuzzy critters, I adore large bouncy dogs and am considering veterinary school. I'm looking forward to learning all about hedgehogs and chinchillas (TOO cute!)
