Hi everyone!
I'm Jess, and I used to be a CnQ member way back when.
At the time, I had two chinnies - Frankie and Sammie - and lived with my then-boyfriend, Sean, in New York... but through a long series of events I find myself with only one chinnie now - just Sammie, my extra dark ebony - and living in Los Angeles with my current boyfriend, Derek.
A lot can change in 2 years, right?
And more is changing, I'm moving to San Francisco in just a couple of weeks for a new job. Craziness!
Anyway, a little about me... I'm moving up to SF to work for an internet startup (similar to Twitter), and our move date is April 24, which happens to be my 24th birthday. So I may go a little silent for a week or so while we get everything moved and set up and everything.
I've had Sammie since October 2007, so he's almost 3 years old now, and he's totally my baby. There have been some rough times when I've thought I'd have to get rid of him (mostly due to air conditioning related issues) but I've figured out a way around all the obstacles and, now that we're moving to a slightly better climate, I'm not worried at all. He's mine to keep. He lives in a big QC Mansion cage with a flying saucer right now, but will be downsizing to a QC Townhome with a chinspin wheel when we move (I've already got it, we're just waiting to put it together until after we move). I'm sure he's not too happy about that, but we all have to downsize a little, San Fran is expensive!
Anyway, enough of my rambling. It's good to be back and see so many familiar faces!
