I am going to my local feed store today to get some supplies.
Now that I have 7 little critters I need lots of food. I want to try and get the new boys to use litter.
They have this heat treated shavings that i saw last time i was there. i want to make sure it is safe for chins. i usually get a huge bag at petsmart but since i will be there i thought i would pick it up.
they said they use it for their horses and small rodents like mice & bunnies.
has anyone purchased "heat treated" shavings??? same as kiln dried pine?

I ended up getting it, says it Planure TGB shavings, dust screened, heat treated.

website is: www.tgbshavings.com

i just want to make sure this is safe for the chins before i open it, otherwise i will return.

this is what it says:
