I'm in NZ, so I get to say it first!!

It's 12.22am here now, and the fireworks are going off (illegally, lol) all over the neighbourhood. True to form, I'm inside and on the couch teehee. As the countdown began I was in the chinny room watching over my girls as they had their playtime....start the new year as you mean to go on, right?!

It's always a bit of a let down for me on NYE since moving to SD, because when I lived in Ohio I used to watch every year as the ball dropped in times square. Now when I watch it it's an hour later, so it's already the New Year. Kind of anticlimactic.

Happy New Year!!! I'm on the Pacific coast, so I'll be "last" to celebrate the new year, but I'll be home with my family and we'll watch the new year celebration in New York, and finish up with our local Seattle celebration. My hubby has worked the last few years on New Years eve, and I'm so happy he'll be home this year to be with the family as midnight rolls around. Hope everyone has a lot of fun and is safe this new year's eve!!!
