Happy 4th back at you Stack! I'm cooking bbq ribs today and then some sweet corn and fresh watermelon. My family is all gone for the weekend so it's just me and Stew. We are watching Up! tonight, but right now I'm having a margarita out of my AMAZING new Elvis coffee mug! It's a great day!
Sadly, I'm here for the duration! No fireworks for me. No guns either, durnit.

Phil and I drove and drove and drove some more to try to visit family but still didn't get everyone. We did sneak in a bit of fishing though.. )
Now we are waiting for the fireworks and going to see a band. I think I want a funnel cake.

We had a huge family get together for Independence Day! It was great to see family from as far away as Australia. Although, I should have stuck to the beer and not mixed the mojito's in there somewhere as I now have a pounding headache. The fireworks at dusk didn't help either but the kids had fun. )
