Hammock?

I just took out the middle floor of my chin's FN. How could I strech a hammock across the cage so they wont get hurt if the happen to fall? It is hard to do because of the double doors. Anyone have any tricks? Thanks.

You'd just need a custom made hammock. I've made quite a few to stretch across the FN and I use them in my ferret cages as well.

I placed a small ledge on the back wall of the cage, level with the divider between the double doors, and put some eye-hooks in the bottom corners of it. I attached the hammock to the eye-hooks, and then stretched the hammock across to the front. There are a couple of small holes that the middle grate fits into. You can attach the hammock to the front using some S hooks, you just have to work them into the holes. I hope this makes sense, I can try to get a picture if you want)
