I'm making a hammock and I need to know what size it should be

It really is a matter of personal preference. I like mine where it can reach from side to side of the cage or half the length of the cage. My cage is 24x24x12..I would say measure the area where you are wanting to hang it and go from there.

Agree, it's a matter of personal preference! My hammocks are 13.5" x 13" x 22" diagonally and 14" x 14" x 24" diagonally.
