Prom is Wednesday. My hair is short. I bought some extensions so I can have a nice up-do. I don't plan on keeping them in long so I bought the clip ins. It was cheaper to buy the hair and clips separately and its not really that big of a deal to sew in the clips. Or so I thought. I have 9 clips and a crazy long section of hair. I know HOW to sew the clips in, but I don't know how I should do it. The girl at the store said to double the hair, so I'm assuming she meant fold it in half....but that's still a long section of hair. I thought the hair was already sectioned for the back and sides. I don't know how far apart to sew the clips or how much hair I need. I don't want to cut it just yet.
Basically, I'm in over my head and have no clue what I'm doing. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? I plan on going to some salons tomorrow to see if they can help, but I'd like to not look stupid lol.
Thanks!

One of my friend got some done and they cut them in different section so she can layers them. Long section in the back of her head and shorter in the top.

Take them to a hair dresser that can show you how to do them - the place that sold you the weft should have showed you a basic way to cut and sew them. While you're at the hair stylist, ask them to blend the hair wefts so that it doesn't look fake - mark the clips with numbers so that you know which order to clip them into your hair.
