Guess on baby's age?

The baby weighs 390 grams. Any idea how old she could be?

Still trying to get a weight on momma but not going to well, she won't stay still long enough for it to read her weight.

It's really hard to say. Maybe three months old or older or maybe younger? If you don't have a birthdate, you'll just have to estimate one. Is she still nursing?

I have not seen her nurse at all but have seen her eating pellets and hay

I guess she is 8 months, 2 weeks, 4 days, 10 hours and 43 minutes old.

But that is just a guess.

I will go with 3 months. Just wanted an estimate to when she can have playtime and a wheel in her cage, especially for momma.

Based on the chart that I have of the average of all of my kits, plus a few others, I would say that the kit is somewhere around 3 to 8 months old. Probably in the neighborhood of 4 months.

Can you post a photo of the kit with mom? Based on weight alone I would say she's 4 months, but as people mentioned, you won't ever know for sure since you weren't there for the birth. If she continues to grow I would venture with a younger age than 8 months. I've never had a 390g 8 month old so to me that kind of a guess is a bit far fetched.

That was the whole point, Tab. ^^ To me, guessing a chin's age based on weight is a bit absurd, so I made an absurd age up.

Sure I can post a couple pics- thank you for your help. I have pretty much come to the conclusion she is about 4 months old.

Yeah...probably about four months old. She's definitely a younger chin.
