I have a snap press that I can convert into a grommet/eyelet press, but have no clue which size I should use! The last chinchilla hammock I made with grommets is not with me, unfortunately.
The website I'm getting them from has these sizes:
#0 - nickle finish
OD:10mm (13/32'')

ID: 5.4mm (7/32'')

Height: 5mm (3/16'')

#1
Eyelet dimension:

OD:14mm (9/16'')

ID: 8mm (5/16'')

Height: 4.8mm (3/16'')

#2
OD:17mm (11/16'')

ID: 10mm (3/8'')

Height: 5.3mm (3/16'')

I wish we used the metric system so I could figure this out!
TIA!

I buy 1/4" eyelets in the sewing/notion section at Walmart or JoAnn Fabric. They seem to be a decent size for most fleece items.

Thanks, but I don't know if those will work in my press, plus I would still need to figure which size dies I would need for the press.
How would 1/4" convert to mm though?

EDIT: I'm so dumb.. there are the sizes in inches right there... and I was the one who posted them..

I use 3/8" especially if you are putting snap hooks through em - makes it easier cause you have more room to work with.

hmm, I'll try out those then, but where can you get snap hooks? I have the small lanyard ones, but those are not going to fit onto a grommet~! lol
Thanks so much!

I get snap hooks online at Baron Manufacturing - they are like $.12 each for 1 1/2" ones. I go for the 2" because they don't put up as much of a fight getting through the big grommets.
