Grinding teeth?

Does anybodys chins grind their teeth sometimes? Mine doesn't do it excessively.. And he has tons of things to chew on/bite in his cage. But sometimes I'll hear him grind his teeth before he falls asleep or just randomly but for a very short amount of time.

I have 2 chins that do it actually. One is my malo chin, Herby and the other, Zoe, does every night as she settles into her tube to sleep and has since I got her and even when she lived with her old owner. They and I took her to the vet and there is absolutely nothing wrong with her teeth or roots so we think she does it to soothe herself.

My new Craigslist chin does it a lot. I searched some old threads on here about chins grinding teeth, and it looks like lots of chins do it.
I feel like Pudge mostly does it after eating or chewing on a toy. The other night though she did it for like five minutes straight! It's quite alarming, but she doesn't look uncomfortable or anything.

Mine does it really only when she's falling asleep. I have no idea why, but if there aren't other symptoms of teeth issues, I wouldn't worry and chalk it up to weird things chins do.

Mine does it when we talk to him sometimes. Hopefully there is nothing wrong with him. I always just thought of it as him 'talking back' to us.
