Green wood?

Question about wood. Sometimes i see sheets of the poplar/pine/aspen or w/e that have a heavy green tint to them. Or some times a very dark tint to them. Does this effect the wood in any way? Or will it effect the chins at all? I always passed on sheets of wood like that because i dont trust them. Unfortunately stores dont restock them usually until they sell.

Is it pressure treated?

Any kd pine I buy has never been green.

Poplar definitely can have a green tint to it and it is not treated. I use it often for woodworking. Not a problem.
